So, I have had the Pantech Link for a few months now, I am always wondering what this "network connections" second is below my settings. i can create new ones or the ones that came with the phone are "ATT&T IMS" and "Mobile Web" obviously those are for internet connections in one form or another, is it possible to add my possess Wireless Router and use that for Free rather then paying for the service when im at my possess home?

Hi i have got mobile phones with in built G.P.S. device. So whenever i take a picture from it i G.P.S.tag them automatically. These G.P.S. tags are easily seen in the mobile below the menu>photos>options>details>location i look my coordinates for the location of the photo taken as ( xx.xxxx'N ; yy.yyyy' E ). and it works fine for me but as i am now properly arranging every of my pictures with reference to there location(or the place where they were taken), I WISH TO look every THE G.P.S. LOCATION RELATED INFO ON MY COMPUTER TOO. i use vista o/s. and i use Nokia N97 mini and N96 mobile handsets. Please help me out on this by finding some apt software which displays the G.P.S. location details for each picture ; either in a separate program window or my original containing folder as one of the various columns (such as size, type, etc.)

Okay so I got a new phone from T-mobile after the old one that was below warranty broke. I got the phone in the mail and was supposed to send the old one back within 7 days or they'll charge me $300. I sent it back through a local mailbox store. When I went back the next day the whole store was gone and the only thing left was a number to call. I called the number and the guy said that there was a delay and he's going to send it out today. He still has yet to send it out, I only have his number and have no idea where he is. I am way past the 7 days I'm supposed to send back the phone in. What should I do? The guy has my phone and refused to let me arrive pick it up. I went to the police station to try and report it but they were no help at every. Surprisingly. So here is my questions: 1. Can I send the new phone back to T-mobile so as not to incur the charges? 2. Is there anything I can do about the owner of the mailbox store. He's pretty much stolen my stuff. 3. Seeing as the phone was stolen, would I be able to make a claim to the phone insurance company? And do I claim it for the old phone type which was a G1 or the new type T-Mobile sent me which is a Cliq. 4. Also do I make a claim for the stolen items to UPS?

I was thinking of buying one on Craigslist. But, I have some questions? Can I just buy it and insert my sim card in it and then it automatically works like a normal phone? Or is there a contract required again? Thanks.

okay i have a decent phone, pretty new. i dont have memory stick for it, or a usb cable or anything. and my multimedia messaging is close off so i cant send any pictures via text. the only thing i have is bluetooth for transfering files. is there anyway i could transfer a picture via bluetooth without having to buy a bluetooth thing for my pc? can i download a program to use bluetooth from phone to mobile? anybody ever done this?

Does Verizon Wireless picture messaging take away from allowed data usage? What I mean is that right now, with multimedia phone, you must have a data package of at least $10. That gives a 25 MB allowance. My question is this. Let's say I send a picture to someone, and that picture is about 150 KB. Is that 150 KB taken away from my 25 MB allowance, or is that 25 MB allowance strictly for mobile web?

I got this phone just last month and I have multiple problems. My text messages freeze up and I can't open them a lot of times so I have to delete the conversation and re open it. The wifi doesn't work sometimes and is too slow. Also, sometimes I don't even receive phone calls from people even though it goes through for them. What should I do?! I got an LG Rumor 2 about a few weeks ago, with Virgin Mobile. I haven't had any problems with it until now. I try to send or receive multimedia messages and it shows an mistake message. Whenever I try to receive on the internet it says, server is busy try again later". I always try later and it just does the same thing. Don't answer saying that I should switch my plan or receive a new phone because that's not gonna happen.

I bought a Motorola Clutch from Boost Mobile, I want to lock my phone while at school or other places. In order to do this i obviously need the password. In my user guide it says nothing about this. I've tried my account pin number & the last 4 digits of my cell phone number? neither have worked? What am I doing wrong? How can I find out the password? Ok, every I am trying to do is transfer my iTunes library to Windows Media Player. I have searched this topic extensively and everybody answers the question as if people want to transfer itunes purchased music. They explain how it is DMR protected and every that. I am not interested in every that. My entire iTunes library is mp3s downloaded from limewire. I download songs from limewire and import them into itunes. I was doing this because I had an iPod touch. I now have an HTC Touch Pro 2 with windows mobile 6.5 and want to import this itunes library (of 3,000 songs half CD's, half lime-wire imported mp3s) to WMP so it syncs with my phone. Again, this does not involve itunes purchased music, just music i imported from limewire into itunes, and cd's i ripped onto itunes. Must I rerip the cds into WMP? And how do I import the songs? I have a normal phone and want to receive a smartphone. There's a problem: Every single carrier has bad reception in my neighborhood. It's not like we're in the middle of nowhere, either--we're just minutes away from Sprint's national campus, ironically. We got a wireless router through T-Mobile that our phones can function normally through (so we can take incoming calls over our Internet connection). We looked at the T-Mobile smartphones, and none of them are compatible with this router. We're looking at other carriers, but we're probably going to have similar problems with them, and we'd like to stay with T-Mobile if we can. Does anyone know if reception on smartphones is any better (or worse) than that of normal phones? My wife has a Blackberry Curve and I have a Samsung Katalyst.

I have a Samsung Vibrant android phone and I just bought the movie Cop Out on blu-ray and it comes with the digital copy. It says I can put it on my computer and a mobile device. Im trying to put it on my phone and I cant figure it out. I put both of the versions of the movie on my laptop (the actual movie and the portable version) and I dragged the portable version on my sd card and went into my phone and tried to watch it and it said I need a license to watch it and I can only click on ok and then it does nothing.
